PIR Motion Detector

The Protect911 Services, Motion Detector is a wireless passive infrared motion detector which provides 24-hour protection for you. The Motion Detector when used in conjunction with the 3000 series of personal emergency response equipment will notify a Central Monitoring Station anytime there is a lack of motion or activity for a predetermined period of time within your home. This allows protection for anyone whom when ill may forget to activate their 3000 series personal emergency response system in an emergency or simply forgot to wear their transmitter. The Motion Detector, at the detection of motion automatically resets the 3000 series personal emergency system built in programmable inactivity timer, which is programmable in 12 hour increments up to 48 hours between required resets.

NOTE: The Motion Detector IS NOT necessary to utilize the 3000 series personal emergency system inactivity timer. The 3000 series systems will sound an audible tone if the inactivity timer is not reset at its programmed time. Pressing the reset button on the system will reset the timer. If not reset it will summon help.
